Coming soon…

As you may have seen in the homepage, I currently have three books under way. YAY! Let me tell you a little bit about them. The first one is Welcome to New York. I have started this book idea back in 2014, during NaNoWriMo (if you don’t know what this is, you should absolutely check it out). I outlined the story for a week, and then my computer died. I only got it back up and running after the month ended, so I just abandoned the story. In 2015, I decided to participate in NaNo again, revisiting this story. By the time I started writing, it was a completely different one. Thank God my computer died the previous year! The characters changed, the story line changed… the only thing that remained the same was the scenario: New York. The story follows Alana and Harry as they are both a little lost and going through the motions. They’ve found out life has its own plans and plot twists and experienced some setbacks in their journeys. They are trying to find their roles in the universe’s narrative. And they will. Together. They just don’t know it yet. So, I didn’t win, I didn’t write 50k words in one month. But I didn’t stop writing when the month ended, either. I pushed on, procrastinating along the way as every writer does. But at some point last year, I fell into a nice routine and started writing every day. As the story progressed, I found myself increasingly eager to see the end. And I finally did, on April this year. So now I have my first ever draft finished and ready to revise and edit. And publish! I still can’t believe it. Keep an eye out to know when this will happen, and also to see the cover when I have one. This will all happen very soon. The second one, which I already started writing (because, why not?), is Once in a Lifetime. This will follow the very short, serendipitous story of Becky and Taylor. How it started, how it evolved, and how it ended. And how some moments in our lives, as brief as they may be, change us forever. I have no deadlines for this one, but bare with me. It will get finish and published faster than WtNY, I promise! The third one, Between the Lines, is just an idea for now. This may not even be the official title yet, who knows. The only thing I can tell you about it is who you will meet: Charlotte and Matthew. Okay, this is it for now. I will keep you posted on news and updates as I get them. Meanwhile, you can sign up to the newsletter to be the first to know about everything and maybe get a little something I prepared for you *wink*. See you soon!
